There are some explanations for the processes of self hypnosis. Some experts say that self hypnosis is just an advanced form of physical and psychological relaxation, much like meditation. This is good for the health since every once in a while, you need to rest to avoid getting stressed out with all your daily activities and problems. Self hypnosis can help manage stress and reduce physical tension if performed frequently. Another reason why self hypnosis works is because of the fact that the individual who willingly performs self hypnosis is already determined to change his/her life and to solve his/her problems even before the procedure. This only makes the person more susceptible to the positive and life-changing effects of self hypnosis.
